Access to Membership Card

Your membership provides you with personal access to a membership card.
Unlimited tanning sessions (maximum once per day, up to 14 minutes).
Memberships may not be shared, sold, rented, or transferred to another person.

Types of Agreements

12-Month Commitment: The subscriber commits to a twelve-month period. The notice period is three months, and the agreement cannot be terminated before the end of the contract period.
Open-Ended Agreement: Subject to a one-month notice period.
Automatic Renewal: All agreements renew automatically unless written notice is sent to askrift@sportsol.is.

Payments and Card Closure

Membership fees are paid monthly in advance, and paid fees are non-refundable.
In the event of non-payment: If a subscriber stops paying before the contract period ends, Sportsól may suspend access to the membership card. However, the subscriber remains liable for the agreed subscription fees for the remainder of the contract period, as well as any collection costs.
After the contract period ends: The membership card will be closed and deleted unless a separate agreement is made beforehand. Otherwise, the current price list will apply.

Cancellation

12-Month Agreements: Cancellation requires three months' notice.
Open-Ended Agreements: Cancellation requires one month's notice.
Cancellation requests must be submitted before the 15th day of the month in order to take effect at the beginning of the next month.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to askrift@sportsol.is.

Changes to Payment Method or Membership Type

Subscribers may change their payment method or membership type. Notice of any changes must be received no later than the 13th day of the month preceding the month in which the changes are to take effect.

Age Requirement and Identification

Customers must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid identification must be presented at every visit. A Facebook profile is not accepted as identification.

Equipment Maintenance and Use

Sportsól owns all tanning beds, and subscribers are expected to use and care for the equipment properly.

Credit Default Register

Sportsól reserves the right to check the Creditinfo default register when new subscribers sign up.
If a subscriber is listed in the default register, Sportsól may terminate the agreement without further notice.
If overdue payments remain unpaid for 60 days or more, Sportsól may request that the subscriber be registered with Creditinfo.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Sportsól reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Changes will be announced to subscribers with at least one month's notice on sportsol.is.

Confidentiality

Sportsól guarantees complete confidentiality regarding subscribers' personal information. Such information will not be disclosed to third parties under any circumstances.

Disputes

Any disputes relating to the agreement shall fall under the jurisdiction of the District Court of Reykjavík.
