Terms and conditions of the subscription agreement Sportsól Hamrasól ehf. (5310230480)
We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions of the subscription agreement. This prevents misunderstandings and promotes smooth and good communication in the future. The following terms and conditions apply to subscriptions to the use of lighting at Sportsól and both subscribers and other users are required to comply with these terms and conditions.
Sportsól provides the subscriber with access to a lighting card for which the subscriber is responsible at all times.
Sportsól rents the subscriber unlimited lighting time use while he has a valid contract (based on once a day), with a maximum of 14 minutes each time. The subscriber is not permitted to allow others to use the subscription by selling, renting, giving or transferring it in any other way.
Sportsól offers subscription agreements where the subscriber commits to a twelve-month term or with a 1-month notice period. The agreement cannot be terminated within the contract period. A subscription agreement expires three months after the subscriber has terminated it. Unless it is an indefinite contract, the notice period is 1 month. A paid subscription is not refundable. The subscriber pays the agreed monthly amount to Sportsól while the contract is in force.
The subscriber must pay each month's subscription in advance.
The subscriber pays a monthly fee according to Sportsól's tariff for their use of an individual card. Sportól is authorized to change the monthly fee by notice on www.sportsol.is. However, the monthly fee does not change for the first 1, or 12 months, depending on the length of the contract.
Sportsól is authorized to include those who subscribe in the Creditinfo (Lánstraust hf) delinquency register. If a subscriber is on the delinquency register, Sportsól may terminate this agreement without further notice and/or refuse his/her new registration.
The subscriber authorizes Sportsól to request registration on the delinquency register of Creditinfo Lánstraust hf. when delinquencies have lasted for at least 60 days, provided that other conditions are met.
Sportowy is the owner of the sunbeds and the subscriber is obliged to take care of them and treat them well.
If the subscriber stops paying the subscription before the end of the contract period according to Article 3, Sportsól is entitled to stop the use of the sunbeds in the solarium to the subscriber. The subscriber shall nevertheless pay the agreed subscription fee for the duration of the contract period plus any costs that may arise from its collection.
If a subscriber cancels a subscription or does not pay the subscription fee after the contract period ends, the card will be closed and deleted, but if agreed before it closes, it is possible to negotiate the same agreement, otherwise the price list will apply each time.
Cancellations must be received with three (3) months' notice or one (1) month's notice and must be terminated before the 15th of that month so that the termination takes effect at the end of the following month. Indefinite-term 12-month contracts will be automatically renewed if written termination has not been received by Sportsólar at the email address Askrift@sportsol.is.
If a subscriber who pays the subscription fee regularly, by credit card, bank transfer, or direct debit, chooses to make changes to the subscription, whether it concerns the composition of the subscription paid for or the method of payment of the subscription fee, he must notify Sportsólar of such changes. Notification must be received no later than the 13th day of the month preceding the month in which the changes are intended to take effect.
If a subscriber violates these subscription terms, Sportsól is authorized, without notice, to suspend the use of the solar card for him and demand immediate payment of damages through collection actions.
Collection of cards/invoices is in the hands of Borgun og Inkasso, or a party determined by Sportsól and authorized to do so.
An ID must be shown every time the solarium is picked up by a customer. A Facebook profile does not count as an ID. Age limit 18 years.
It is not permitted to allow a third party to use the card in any way, and it is not possible to invite a third party to a subscription card.
Sportowy reserves the right to change the subscription terms. Changes shall be announced to subscribers at least one month in advance on the website sportsol.is
By signing this subscription agreement, the subscriber undertakes to comply with the terms and conditions set by Sportsól and stated in this agreement regarding the subscriber's access to the light card.
Sportowy promises the subscriber full confidentiality regarding all information provided by the subscriber in connection with the transaction. Information from the subscriber will not be provided to third parties under any circumstances.
Cases arising from this agreement may be brought before the Reykjavík District Court.
